dotLottie Pack & Unpack
Bundle a Lottie JSON into a portable .lottie package or inspect an existing package without uploading source files.

Ready.
When to use dotLottie
Use a package when an animation has multiple variants, images, or a manifest that should travel with the JSON. Keep a plain JSON copy for simple embeds.
FAQ
Does packing change my animation?
No. The JSON is stored as-is inside the package.
Are files sent to a server?
No. ZIP creation and extraction happen locally.
Pack and inspect dotLottie files without an upload queue
A dotLottie file is a ZIP-based package with a manifest and one or more animation files. This tool validates plain Lottie JSON before it builds the package. When you open an existing .lottie file, it lists the real package contents and reports whether the manifest can be read.
What the download contains
Packing creates a standards-shaped manifest and stores the animation under the animations folder. Unpacking downloads the original package as a ZIP, preserving animations, images, fonts, themes, and state-machine files that may already be present. Nothing is silently discarded.
Know the boundary
The packer currently creates a single-animation package from JSON. If that JSON points to external images, keep those assets beside the source or use a fuller packaging workflow. The 10 MB JSON and 50 MB package limits keep decompression work predictable on phones and modest laptops.
